Organ Discovery Days
St. Joseph's Cathedral, Sioux Falls
5:30-6:30 pm
Students will be able to see and explore the Cathedral's small positive organ and the new Juget-Sinclair organ in the sanctuary. That will be followed by a masterclass from 6:30-8:30 with organist Wolfgang Reisinger. Students are not required to attend, but are welcome. there is no fee for the students, but contact if you have interested students.

Dr. Reisinger has been appointed Visiting Professor of Organ and Church Music for the 2025-2026 year academic year. He hails from Vienna, Austria and his interim appointment follows the retirement of Dr. Michael Bauer who served the University of Kansas as Professor of Organ and Church Music for 38 years. Dr. Reisinger started his teaching career in Upper Austria and became professor at the Conservatory of Sacred Music in Vienna in 1990. There he taught Organ, Improvisation, Harmony, Organ Building and Design, Liturgical Hymnology and Figured Bass at the University of Music in Graz, Austria. He has concertized widely in Europe, performing a wide variety of repertoire and always includes an improvisation in his concerts.

St. Joseph's Cathedral Organ Dedication
